By: king1234 Often in the winter you might find that your wardrobe is a little dull and with very little colour. It can be hard to see how to add colour into what you wear and the aim of this article is to give you some advice and tips on how to do just that. It is quite common for people to stick to dark colours in the winter, like black, browns and greys. However if you are like me you probably want to add a bit more colour and fun to your wardrobe but it is not always easy to see how to do that. Believe me there are plenty of things you can do it is just a matter of being bold and going for it. The first thing to know is adding colour does not mean going completely mad and just putting as many colours as possible together. That would just make you look crazy and you would probably feel very uncomfortable going out like that. Before you start it is a good idea to pick a colour that you like, it could be red, orange, green or any other colour. The only condition is that it is not black, brown of grey. This will allow you to move away from the dull winter wardrobe that you normally have. One of the easiest ways to add colour is to buy a hat, scarf and gloves in your chosen colour. This will make your winter coat and going out outfits look brighter already. You may also find that the addition on this colour lifts you mood in the cold dark days you experience in the winter. Now that you have your outdoor wear sorted you should focus on what you wear inside. If you have dark trousers to a dark skirt then stick with these. However rather than teaming them with a dark top get yourself a jumper in your chosen colour. It sounds simple but these are things that people often forget. However doing this changes your outfit from a dull, dark look to a bright and interesting outfit. This will have a great affect on the way you feel about yourself and the way that others feel about you. You can now start selecting other colours that you like and getting jumpers and tops in those colours to wear with your dark trousers to skirts. This will enable you to get some colour into what you wear every day. It can also work if you pick a coloured skirt or trousers and wear them with a dark top, just to make sure not everything you wear is dark. If you leave the colour out then you will find it brings down your mood and makes the winter harder to bear than it needs to be. It is important to express yourself though and wear colour in a way that you feel comfortable with. Whether you go for soft subtle colours of bright bold colours will depend on you and what you feel comfortable in. Also remember that just because it is winter there is not rule about what you should wear. If you want to go for light summery colours and want to wear white then do. Don’t allow the season to restrict your individuality, it is only a time of year. For more information on modelling visit Model Pictures, your place to find modelling agencies.
